HOBA Pro for Academia
Learn the platform, not just the theory.
The HOBA Academia Programme gives HOBA Academy students, educators, and universities access to HOBA Pro — the business transformation platform built on the HOBA framework — for educational, non-commercial use.
How It Works
HOBA Academy students
Enrol in any Academy programme and add the student licence at $300/yr. Verification is automatic from your Academy enrolment; access begins when payment is received. Valid while enrolled, plus 12 months after you complete.
Educators
Apply with your academic credentials. Verified educators teaching Business Architecture or enterprise transformation receive a free 1-seat licence, renewed annually. Educators complete HOBA certification first.
Universities
Bring HOBA Pro into the curriculum with a cohort licence. Your institution administers its own cohort; we provision on cleared payment.

Bring HOBA Pro into your curriculum with an annual cohort licence.
Includes one free educator licence per cohort.
- The course includes a taught module on business transformation using HOBA and HOBA Pro.
- The teaching educator holds or completes HOBA certification.
- Cohort access expires at course end; renew annually for the next intake.
What We Ask of Educators
A free educator licence is an exchange, not a giveaway. Approved educators must meet all of the following requirements within 90 days of activation:
Complete the Introduction to Business Transformation course
Finish the course within 90 days. Start here: Introduction to Agile Business Transformation
Build one HOBA Pro project
Create and build at least one project inside the HOBA Pro platform to demonstrate hands-on use.
Give testimonial or case study permission
Agree that we may follow up for a short testimonial or academic case study about your experience.
Post on LinkedIn tagging HOBA Tech
Share your experience on LinkedIn and tag HOBA Tech when you complete the program.
Failure to meet these requirements within 90 days will result in access being revoked.

Academic Use Terms
Terms of Use for HOBA Academia
By applying for HOBA Academia, you agree to the following:
Access is for academic purposes only.
Use is strictly non-commercial (e.g., no use in client work, consulting, or paid services).
Student licences are valid while enrolled in a HOBA Academy programme, plus 12 months after completion; verification is annual.
Cohort seats expire at course end.
Misuse — commercial or client work on an academia licence — ends the licence.
You will not duplicate, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of the HOBA platform or framework.
Any work produced remains your intellectual property, but the framework and platform remain HOBA Tech's.
Any breach of these terms will result in termination of access and may lead to legal action.

The Academia Programme builds the next generation of HOBA Certified Business Transformation Architects. Graduates carry HOBA Pro into industry — where their organisations buy at standard commercial rates. TOGAF certifies the theory; HOBA Pro is where students do the work.
