There are two (2) certifications out of this training:
- HOBA® Business Transformation Foundation – the HOBA Business Transformation Foundation is designed for individuals who are new to Business Transformation or have limited experience in the field, and provides a broad overview of HOBA® concepts, terminology, and principles.
- HOBA® Business Transformation Practitioner - is intended for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of HOBA® and its application in real-world scenarios, and delves into advanced HOBA® concepts, methodologies, and best practices for implementing Business Transformation.

When you pass Delivering HOBA® 1.0 exam, you’ll receive a HOBA® Business Transformation Foundation® certificate, with a digital badge to share and promote your accomplishment online.
A one-year certified membership as a HOBA® Business Transformation Foundation® is also included, granting you access to the HOBA® Community (coming soon!). Furthermore, we’ll provide you with a HOBA® Business Transformation Foundation® certification usage guide with HOBA® certification marks, as well as access to a variety of learning resources to support certified professionals during their HOBA® journey.
If you choose, and pass the additional HOBA® Practitioner test, you will receive the HOBA® Business Transformation Practitioner status, digital certificate and badge. Practitioner certification demonstrates a deeper understanding of HOBA® and the ability to apply it effectively in enterprise contexts.

Yes, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion, showcasing their advanced expertise in business transformation. If or when you sit the certification tests, you will receive the application digital certificate and badge.
We will provide you with access to the pre-workshop course. This will give you an introduction to HOBA®, the Design Process and alignment with other approaches (amongst other things). This will allow you to hit the ground running, with everyone in the room having at least the same baseline understanding of HOBA, business architecture and business transformation. This knowledge will help you to actively participate in the exercises during the actual workshop.
You will be send two pre-masterclass activities to complete – the Transformation Ready Scorecard, and pre course questionnaire so we can understand your goals and objectives so we can tailor the material and scenarios to your situation as best as we can.
You will also be given access to the pre-course online course approximately 2-weeks prior to the start of the event. We will contact you via email with further instructions.
In the Implementing HOBA 1.0 2-Day course, we teach you the fundamentals and core elements of HOBA and how to use HOBA to design your Target Operating Model (TOM), at both the Strategic / conceptual level, and what that looks like down in Operations / implementation level.
In the Delivering HOBA 1.0 4-day course, we get into a lot more details and share best practices, our tools and techniques around agile business transformation and put more of an emphasis on the design process and structure of what the actual transformation journey will look like. This is great for transformation leaders and managers looking to understand what it means to setup, manage and lead the transformation project and program in your organisation.
