The two levels of HOBA certification

HOBA Business Transformation Architect (Associate)
You have completed the Agile Transformation Accelerator — the full HOBA® framework and the six-step Design Process, with its six Reference Models. You know the method.

Certified HOBA Business Transformation Architect (CHBTA)
You have completed the training and your real-world experience has been independently verified. Before we certify you, we contact people who actually worked with you and ask them to confirm what you did — against each of the six HOBA® Reference Models:

36 months of hands-on business transformation experience within the last 10 years (calendar months — any part of a month counts; overlapping projects count once)
Verified activity in at least 4 of the 6 Reference Models — real practitioners specialise; you don't need all six
A named referee for each project — someone who directly observed your work
Every referee is contacted. Every response is recorded. No exceptions.

Why it matters

Anyone can claim experience on a CV. A CHBTA's experience has been confirmed by the people who were there. For employers and clients, the public register shows at a glance who holds a verified credential — and who holds training only.

How verification works

Submit your project history — project names, organisations, dates, your role, and which Reference Models you applied.
Nominate a referee per project — someone who directly observed the work.
We verify — each referee receives a two-minute confirmation request. No login, no forms to download.
You're certified — your certificate and the public register update to Certified — experience verified.

Most candidates complete their side in about 15 minutes.
